Ali zamir

Guest at the 2017 Books & Music Festival

Ali Zamir was born in 1987 in Mutsamudu (Comoros). Thanks to a scholarship, he studied modern literature at the University of Cairo (Egypt), where he obtained a master's degree in 2010. It is in exile in this city that he designs, between 2009 and 2010, the first version of the novel Something fishy. He returned to live in Mutsamudu in 2001 and occupied, from 2014 to 2016, the function of Director of Culture and Association Affairs of the autonomous island of Anjouan.

Ali Zamir's participation takes place within the framework of the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole author residency.
