Yann Walcker

Guest at the 2017 Books & Music Festival

Yann Walcker was born in 1973 in Paris. After studying graphic arts at the Penninghen workshop, he went to writing and published his first book, The alphabet great musicians, at Gallimard Jeunesse. Winner of the Prix de Bologne and the Prix des Libraires Jeunesse de Belgique, he has written around fifty books to date. Some, praised by the press and translated into many languages, are used in education. He is notably the author of the series Igor little vampire and collection The tube for toddlers.
Yann Walcker is also a lyricist, composer, and works for various performers on the French scene.
