Live the experience
of the Summer Meeting
The world of racing is a unique one: exciting, precise, moving and meticulous. Since 1864 - the date of its construction - the professionals of the Deauville-La Touques racecourse have been keen to share their passion with the public. Trainers, jockeys, lads... This summer, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, they are there to accompany you in their world. The only exception to this calendar is that there will be no races on Saturday, August 13, in favor of an exceptional day on Monday, August 15. The grand prizes always take place on Sunday!
Remember, the racetrack opens at noon except on Thursdays which start at 4pm.

Visit the backstage of the racetrack
Who has never dreamed of discovering the hidden side of racing, that only the professionals know? Every day of the races, take advantage of the guided tours to visit the racecourse, from the weighing room to the stables during the famous behind-the-scenes visits of the racecourse. During the summer meeting, spectators also have the unique opportunity to attend a race start in the stalls in the company of Easy Racing coaches. The sensations are guaranteed. Registration is done on the spot (within the limits of available places!).
The race: from the presentation circle to the stands
See you at the presentation ring! Last lock before the access to the tracks, it is here that you will be able to admire the horses before the big start. The jockeys parade here with their horses and then get into the saddle after receiving the last instructions from the trainers. Owners, spectators and even bettors gather here to take in the show. Look for the helmets - in the horse owners' colors - that will allow you to follow your horse during the race. And see the jockeys up close. They are the best ambassadors to illustrate the particularly high sporting character of the Deauville Barrière meeting program, which is rich in selection races renowned in Europe. Throughout the meeting, as part of the jockeys' championship, a list of winners calculated from their performances can be followed on a large board on the racecourse. They are also very present on social networks or via QR codes (installed within the racecourse). In these ultra-disseminated digital contents, they make discover the diversity of the racing jobs, tell their best memories and the different moments of their day: in training or in competition. And every weekend, they meet the visitors for autographs (at the Easy Racing area).
Once the horses have joined the track, sit in the stands to watch them take to the track. You'll enjoy the growing cheers of the audience mixed with the loud roar of the gallops. The sensations are even stronger at the foot of the stands.
Deauville Thursdays: the trendy after race!
On Thursdays, the meeting day starts at 4pm. The races take place in semi-nocturnal and are accompanied by "battles" between teams of spectators, animated by coaches. The theme is undoubtedly the world of racing. Thanks to the advice and information given by the coaches, everyone can win prizes and immerse themselves in the discovery of the world of racing. The evening then continues with an original evening, a trendy trackside after-race, with DJ set and lounge bar, until 11pm.
Every race day: a playground for all ages
A games bar will offer eight fields for group fun with recreational activities: mölkky, ring game, shuffleboard, giant mikado, ping-pong,... The famous derby game invites you to get on a bike and pedal in rhythm to lead your horse to the finish before your opponents. For the neophytes, don't miss the Easy Racing area where you can learn how to race. And to eat, no less than three options are available: the Black Type, the Paddock Gardens and the Panoramic Restaurant (see address book below).
Laughing at the Village Galop Kids
Everything has been thought of and implemented to familiarize oneself with the world of horses and racing while having fun! The youngest spectators will be able to spend their energy thanks to the racecourse's essential activities: pony rides, inflatable structures, mini-securitis... New features to discover: giant twister, giant hopscotch, picture albums to collect, kids' race (August 9) and parade with the jockeys (every weekend).
