The big merry-go-round

At the heart of the Longines Deauville International Horse Pole, the large riding arena is one of the privileged spaces where riders like to work in peace. The track (70/30 m) is made of a “new generation” floor, allowing the organization of competitions up to the highest level. It has more than 600 bleachers, to which are added spaces reserved for sponsors and partners. It is equipped with high definition screens and modern high quality sound. Shows are organized there on certain dates. It can also host private parties for up to 1 people.

It communicates with another smaller carousel (40/20 m), allowing to work but also to prepare the horses during sporting events.

Restaurant

Open every day of the year, the restaurant is a friendly place where you can have lunch or a drink, while watching horses and riders working in the arena or on the outdoor quarries. The menu is that of a brewery. The wi-fi is free, as are the car parks nearby. Evenings are organized and many services are offered.

The great career

The Pole has four quarries on which the horses evolve every day. The “large arena” (6 m²) allows the organization of nearly 350 days of competition each year, including 80 to 10 international events. Like the others, these quarries are equipped with “new generation” soils. More than 12 bleachers can accommodate spectators. The surroundings allow the installation of exhibitor villages during major events.

The other careers

Three other working quarries complete the system, also equipped with “new generation” floors. They are all of different sizes: 64/32 m, 40/20 m and 70/31 m. Recently, the Pole invested in a 500-meter gallop ring allowing mounted horses to maintain their strength and endurance outdoors. This last tool, very popular with owners of boarding horses, is innovative in this type of structure. It also allows horses to relax on a walk, and a few grass paddocks are set up nearby.

Stables

Four stables are dedicated to boarding horses. They are placed under the responsibility of a stable manager and his team. The Pôle International du Cheval Longines Deauville has decided to offer a set of specific services for horse owners, combining comfort for both horse and rider: 11,50m² boxes, showers, solarium, veterinary care, spacious stables - with, for some, video equipment - private or shared tack room and privileged access to the slopes. Particular attention is paid to the nutritional monitoring of horses. Twice a year, the Pôle team carries out a complete assessment of the owners' stable: weighing, calculating weight gain and determining the rations most suited to the horse's activity.
