Becoming a champion is all about practice

Every morning, horses come with their coaches, real mentors, to train for the competitions organized at the racecourse. About twenty of them decided to stay in one of the stud farms stretching along the training centre of Deauville, hosting over 400 horses all the year round and up to 700 in summer!

Go along the Deauville-La Touques racecourse, at the heart of Deauville, passing through Avenue Hocquart de Turtot or Rue Letellier to see the stables of the training centre. In the morning from Boulevard Mauger, you may also see horses training on the racecourse tracks. From here, they have direct access to the beach - something unique in France -, where they can relax after training.

Deauville is the city of my childhood, bringing me happiness throughout my career. It reminds me of my most beautiful memories, my nicest victories. The story of my family is intimately linked with Deauville.

He has recently started to organize guided tours focusing on the racecourse and the races. These tours take place every day from 6 am to 12 pm, while horses are training. It's a nice opportunity to discover all the ins and outs of the job of jockey and the special connection they establish with racing horses.
