VILLERVILLE THE VILLAGE ON THE CLIFF
It was here that Henri Verneuil set up his camera in 1962 to shoot "Un Singe en hiver". An artistic aura that Villerville continues to maintain by welcoming young actors each year to produce "Un Festival à Villerville" (early September). Originally a fishing village, Villerville is lined with tall, narrow houses that open onto the seashore and the Parc des Graves, where the panorama is breathtaking.
Not to be missed: The sea festival, the farm of the Castle and its hundred-year-old beech trees, the tour "Un Singe en Hiver" on the filming locations of the movie including the famous Cabaret Normand which has retained the charm of 1962.
