Villa Les Abeilles
In the 1910s, the fashion designer Irène Paquin gave architect Auguste Bluysen (architect of villas in Le Touquet and the Grand Rex cinema) carte blanche to design this villa, which was a great success in the architectural magazines of the time. Its Norman references (finials, flat tiles) intersect with Art Nouveau citations, such as the curved wood panelling.
Built in concrete with a brick facing, its openings are generous. The architecture of the stair tower, lit by a large glass roof, realistically expresses its vocation. It was later owned by André Citroën.
In 1912, the architect stated: "No program was given to me, other than to do something modern, not art nouveau, but clear and cheerful. Journal "La vie à la campagne
To be seen for its exterior architecture. The villa cannot be visited.
