In this particular year, the Easter vacations take place exceptionally from April 10 to 26, for all zones. During these two weeks of freedom, on the beach or in the heart of green parks, we run, walk, swim, gallop and pedal for our greatest good.

Spending time in a leisure park in complete freedom

____________________

After the promenade des Planches, go to the back of the promenade Michel d'Ornano towards the Parc des Lais de Mera vast four-hectare park on the edge of the beach that has become a favorite playground for bathers, vacationers and athletes. You can go for a walk, but above all you can enjoy the twenty-step sports course. To slide on the green, riders meet at the skate park of Deauville and its 500 m² of surfaces dedicated to skateboarding, BMX and scooter. A Mecca for team sports, the Intercommunal Leisure Park covers eleven hectares and is a real paradise for outdoor activities: three grass soccer pitches, two artificial turf pitches, a children's playground, petanque courts, a one-kilometer fitness trail, a rollerblade and bicycle path for children.

From the sea, get into a kayak for a hike at the foot of the Black Rocks with an instructor. During 2h30, you will go along the 4km of clay cliffs which border the coast, culminating at 60 meters of altitude. More of a calm water enthusiast? Opt for a hike on the Touques river, where you will go down the meanders of this coastal river.

Learn to fly a kite

____________________

Kite flying is a popular activity for children and has fascinated them for generations with its graceful and colorful aerial ballets. The pleasure of running into the wind while dragging the kite behind you has become a must on the beaches of the Côte Fleurie. This is why the Nautical Pole of Villers-Blonville organizes sessions for children from 8 to 12 years old to learn how to grab, direct and twirl his kite, at the foot of the Falaises des Vaches Noires. That's all there is to it.

Raising children's awareness of the environment during a fishing trip

And because fun is the key to success for the little ones, this discovery session is punctuated by a fishing trip. In cool, dry or sunny weather, they go in search of grey shrimps and other hidden species, and learn to differentiate between the different crustaceans. A great adventure that raises awareness of ecology and respect for the environment from a very young age.

Attend the Easter Festival from your living room

Easter Festival
Sandrine Boyer-Engel

For its 25th edition, the Easter Festival invites itself to your home: totally new, the program will be entirely digital and radio-based to offer lovers of chamber music the opportunity to attend the five concerts from a distance. Since 1996, the festival has been welcoming young chamber musicians to Deauville each year to play rare and ambitious programs, from trio to orchestra, from baroque music to the great pages of modern music, combining voices, strings, winds, brass, percussion and keyboards. As every spring, the festival's orchestra, L'Atelier de musique, will associate the most promising chamber musicians, most of whom are in residence at the Singer-Polignac Foundation, with a program tailor-made by the director Yves Petit de Voize: Agate, Elmire and Girard quartets, Xenakis trio, La Fresque wind ensemble. And it is from an exceptional place, the Salle Élie de Brignac - with its ideal wooded acoustics - that the concerts will take place, as in each edition.
