Philippe Augier and Alain Moatti visited this morning Les Franciscaines site with the elected officials in charge of the project, Isabelle Patry and Véronique Bourné, and the project team. Even in the coldest weather, the enthusiasm to discover the spaces is there. For Philippe Augier, as for Alain Moatti, the construction site keeps its promises. The strength of the project from an architectural point of view is its functionality. We had to completely restructure the premises, which responded to the needs of a convent, necessarily filled with cells of nuns. We kept the facades and the main volumes: the rest was restructured according to the needs and objectives of our project. Alain Moatti has this great quality of knowing how to build facilities on the basis of already existing buildings. The modularity of the spaces is intelligent, allowing us to adjust different scenographies according to the exhibitions. The design of the volumes is adapted to our needs.
