One day
In Deauville-Clairefontaine
Every year, the racecourse is in full swing in July and August with its famous summer meeting. Between the Exhibitors' Village for adults and the Hippik Kids Village for children, here is an overview of the activities and entertainment for the whole family.

Discover the backstage of the racetrack

Every race morning, guided tours of the racecourse are organized, free of charge! After watching a ten-minute film presenting the racetrack, its disciplines, the betting system and the history of Deauville-Clairefontaine, visitors are taken to the weighing room, the stables, the jockeys' changing rooms, the Stewards' room, the veterinary quarters and the impressive starting stalls. These areas, usually reserved for professionals, are open exclusively to the general public for the summer meeting. The tours end with a Norman aperitif and a tasting of AOP/AOC cider and Norman cheeses.
Duration : 45 minutes.
Make your own games

Whether you are a seasoned bettor or a novice, there are numerous gaming windows available, some of which have been specially set up for bettors making their first trip into the world of horse betting. For the experienced turfist, the 60 television screens spread between the hall and the ticket offices will allow them to follow the races and to play on the races of the day.
Play the races, of course, but also the multitude of games offered such as the "Just' Equilibre" game. The principle is simple: guess the weight of a sculpture and fill in a participation form to report your prediction. "Faites vos jeux" is offered free of charge and allows everyone, amateurs and enthusiasts, to follow the races, play and live the frenzy of the day.
Having fun with the kids

At Deauville-Clairefontaine, children are kings! The Hippik Kids Village offers numerous activities every day of the races: giant game of small horses, Epic Race - a giant game of goose made in Clairefontaine -, face painting workshops, bouncy castle... Children can also learn about horse riding at the Espace Poney Point thanks to a free pony ride given by state-qualified instructors. The Hippogarderie, a free and supervised area for children aged 3 to 8, has a fenced-in play area where children can play on the slide, swings and other outdoor games.
Meet the exhibitors

Every race day, the Exhibitors' Village takes place on the square in front of the racecourse. A real place of meetings and exchanges, the exhibitors make discover and share their passion, their know-how, their secrets and of course their local products. With a different theme each day, new exhibitors and stands appear daily.
Following the Village, a small detour is necessary by the Boutique - Information where talented artists succeed one another. Whether they are sculptors, painters or photographers, they decorate the walls of the Boutique with their art, which is renewed day after day.
Discover the horses in the show ring

Last lock before the access to the tracks, it is here that you can admire the horses before the big start. Jockeys, trainers, owners and spectators all meet at the presentation ring. The jockey receives final instructions from his trainer and then gets into the saddle. The horses can be examined very closely.
Look for the helmets - in the horse owners' colors - that will allow you to follow your horse during the race.
Vibrate in the stands

Take a seat in the stands and come cheer on the champions! To the growing cheers of the public, you can hear the powerful roar of the gallops on the track. An even more unforgettable experience if you sit on the lawn at the foot of the stands.
