Xenakis Trio

The main vocation of the Xenakis trio is the exploration of masterpieces of contemporary music highlighting the multiple facets of percussion.

Trained mainly at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, these three percussionists have a common passion for chamber music work involving the infinite and spectacular percussion instrumentarium of the XNUMXth century.

Paying homage to Iannis Xenakis, one of the first composers to highlight percussion in a soloist light with a rhythmic complexity never before envisaged, this set also explores the works of the last century in all its aesthetic evolution up to the creation of more contemporary.

An instrumental revelation of the Victoires de la Musique in 2017, Adélaide Ferrière, like her two partners in the trio, collaborated with the most important French and European orchestral phalanges and under the direction of the greatest conductors.
