Panorama on the city of Le HavreValentin Pacaut - The Explorers

In July and August, a maritime shuttle offers to cross the estuary and spend the day on the other bank of the Seine: aboard the Gulf Stream II from Deauville-Trouville or the Ville du Havre boat from the ocean city. An original and practical experience!

Le Havre and its must-sees

Take a seat aboard the Gulf Stream II and let yourself be guided on the waves of the Estuary to reach Le Havre along the Normandy coast. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this city seduces with its unique architecture designed by the visionary Auguste Perret and its cultural heritage. As soon as you arrive, walk along the quays to the André Malraux Museum of Modern Art. Impressionism is widely represented, making this museum the second most important collection in France, after the Orsay Museum in Paris.

The maritime shuttles are organized since 2015 at the initiative of the Metropolitan Cluster of the Seine Estuaryin partnership with the tourist offices of Le Havre Etretat Normandie Tourisme, inDeauville and Trouville-sur-Mer, as well as the Vedettes Baie de Seine and Gulf Stream II.

The Seine Estuary Metropolitan Cluster is made up of eight inter-municipalities, present in the three departments of Calvados, Eure and Seine-Maritime. Among its various fields of action, it is conducting a study on the attractiveness of the Seine Estuary territory. The objective for the inter-municipal members of the Metropolitan Cluster is to work together to carry out high-visibility promotional initiatives that will benefit all the territories of the Seine Estuary. The Metropolitan Cluster involves the tourist offices in its reflections and projects to develop a strategy that complements the actions carried out individually and thus converge the actions.
