This summer, the holidays are going on inDeauville

The health crisis has strongly impacted the tourism sector. In the absence of international travel, the French are encouraged, by various tourism promotion campaigns or press articles, to vote for summer vacations in France this summer. A study carried out by BVA, from June 2 to 4, 2020, on a sample of 1 people representative of the French population, seems to confirm this intention: 055% of those questioned plan to leave this summer, mainly Ile-de-France residents (58%) , young people aged 67 to 18 (24%) and families (74%); 66% think they favor the countryside, expressing their desires for nature, but the sea remains the most popular destination for 24% of them!

"Normandy, elsewhere it's here!"

A major Normandy tourism promotion campaign, a key element of the recovery plan initiated by the Region and Normandy with the Normandy Regional Tourism Committee, was launched from June to September with the slogan "Normandy, elsewhere is here! ". This strong regional and national communication campaign aims to encourage the Normans to rediscover Normandy and the French to come and spend their holidays there. With 6% of Norman GDP and 3,1% of employment, tourism represents a major sector of activity for Normandy. To show that a change of scenery is guaranteed in Normandy, this multi-channel campaign (posters, media, digital, etc.) is based on a series of visuals putting a Norman site and a site abroad in parallel. Example with the beaches of Deauville and Santa Monica in California!

TOP ! The visual of Deauville was selected with that of Mont-Saint-Michel and Etretat by the SNCF for its national summer campaign on tourist destinations accessible by train. These three destinations will be particularly promoted with preferential train tickets. The media plan provides for a strong digital device on the oui.sncf and other online sites, but also a display in the Paris metro and at Saint-Lazare station, table sets in Parisian brasseries, publications in the newspaper 20 Minutes ...

"Secret getaway in TER"

To facilitate the mobility of French people and promote the French destination this summer, the Regions of France and SNCF Voyageurs launched the TER DE FRANCE operation around 4 new measures: two million tickets for less than 10 euros, a youth pass, a access during the summer to TER trains throughout France for annual TER subscribers, and an interactive national map of hundreds of tourist destinations accessible by TER. This operation is accompanied by a video web series, the second part of which promotes the Côte Fleurie.

From the Blue Side to the Flower Coast, from the mountains to the ocean or from the city to the countryside, embark aboard TER de France to explore all the riches of the regions of our country. Each getaway offers you the chance to discover a regional TER line, its local specificities, the activities it allows you to do.
