A major Normandy tourism promotion campaign, a key element of the recovery plan initiated by the Region and Normandy with the Normandy Regional Tourism Committee, was launched from June to September with the slogan "Normandy, elsewhere is here! ". This strong regional and national communication campaign aims to encourage the Normans to rediscover Normandy and the French to come and spend their holidays there. With 6% of Norman GDP and 3,1% of employment, tourism represents a major sector of activity for Normandy. To show that a change of scenery is guaranteed in Normandy, this multi-channel campaign (posters, media, digital, etc.) is based on a series of visuals putting a Norman site and a site abroad in parallel. To facilitate the mobility of French people and promote the French destination this summer, the Regions of France and SNCF Voyageurs launched the TER DE FRANCE operation around 4 new measures: two million tickets for less than 10 euros, a youth pass, a access during the summer to TER trains throughout France for annual TER subscribers, and an interactive national map of hundreds of tourist destinations accessible by TER.
