Caisse d'Epargne Normandie: a committed bank

Ahead of its time, the Caisse d'Epargne played a major role in the emancipation of women, in particular by allowing them, from 1881, to have their savings account without the consent of their husband. 84 years before the law recognized their financial independence in 1965.
True to its values, Caisse d'Epargne has regularly demonstrated its commitment to the place of women in society. It therefore focused more specifically on supporting, promoting and accompanying female entrepreneurship, a factor of economic development and societal innovation.
A pioneer, the Caisse d'Epargne still is when it signed with the State, a first framework agreement, renewed in 2018 which targets 40% of women entrepreneurs by 2020. It is again with the launch of #FemmesDeTalent, a program dedicated to promoting leadership women in the entrepreneurial field as well as in the sports field.
And it is particularly so in Normandy, when it creates a specific credit offer "0% loan for women entrepreneurs" reserved for women benefiting from the guarantee initiated by the State, EGALITE Femmes (ex FGIF), distributed by the Normandie Active network. It also makes their heritage advice experts available to them.
It is through these various lasting and tangible actions that the Caisse d'Epargne Normandie, alongside the Norman networks in the lead, Women and Challenges, the Pioneers, Tous pour Elles, affirms and reaffirms its commitment to women entrepreneurs everywhere. Normandy territory.
