450 meters long, the Villerville dike allows you to walk below the village built on the side of the cliffs, along the beach at low tide or at the edge of the water when the tide is high and it almost disappears. . First built in 1810 in wood to protect the land that slid towards the sea, they were rebuilt in 1920 in concrete as we know them today.

The access is done by the center of Villerville, at the level of the old casino, by a small stone staircase halfway at the level of the crossroads of "Monkey in winter" (film of Henri Verneuil filmed in 1962 in Villerville with Jean Gabin and Jean-Paul Belmondo) or by the Parc des Graves which allows you to reach the Graves beach, wilder and ideal place for nature walks! On this side are also the Cliffs of Roches Noires, 4 km long and 60 meters high, which alternate gentle slopes and steep walls.
