The Deauville-La Touques racecourse It is on the racecourse of Deauville-La Touques that we can see the most races during the year! It thus deserves its nickname of “4 seasons” racecourse with its program of 42 days of flat racing, the discipline where all the speed of thoroughbreds is expressed. Its prestigious races (Group 1) and its training center of 300 horses per year and 600 in summer attract the elite of riders and an international clientele. This racecourse was the first 10 years ago to inaugurate a fiber-sand track, which allows it to organize winter races. Its grass track takes over in summer. Deauville – La Touques then hosted numerous races which earned it its reputation, including the famous Rothschild, Maurice de Gheest, Jacques Le Marois, Morny, Jean Romanet prizes… and to close the summer season, the Grand Prix de Deauville.

Deauville-Clairefontaine racecourse If the Deauville-La Touques racetrack is the sanctuary for flat races, that of Clairefontaine can boast of being the only tri-disciplinary racetrack on the Normandy coast, hosting trot, obstacle and flat races exclusively on grass. Located in the towns of Tourgéville and Bénerville, the Deauville-Clairefontaine racecourse, with its typically Norman buildings, is considered one of the most flowery in France: "the racecourse with 100 flowers", to use Leon Zitrone's expression. It is also a relaxing place to spend a day with the family: many activities are offered for children and different themes punctuate each day of the race.
