Tables inspired by the sea

With its 600 kilometers of coastline, Normandy draws part of its gastronomic identity from the sea. In summer, fishermen stock up on mussels, sole, lobster and mackerel, before harvesting scallops in autumn. From mid-October to mid-December, scallops take pride of place on every table and market stall, with Villers-sur-Mer in particular hosting a weekend of gastronomic festivities. A local tradition, seafood is a joyous accompaniment to any occasion. Whether you're sitting at a shucker's bench, with your family around a Sunday table, or in an effervescent brasserie, you'll appreciate their exceptional taste.
