A history of vocations
Its history is chaotic but has finally created vocations! This residence located in the village of Saint-Arnoult opened in 2011 with 41 apartments and almost as many co-owners who entrusted it to an operating company. After a few months, the reservations are slow and worrying.
Three of the co-owners mobilize and decide with the support of the others to create their own company to get out of a financial mess. They recruited Nicolas Hunot, whom they had hosted as an intern a few months earlier. He holds a BTS in real estate profession and a license in business creation and project support. He commits himself at their side to put the residence back on track.
From simple investors, they will become entrepreneurs in tourism. Their commitment will lead them to work on the attractiveness of their product. They will work on a breakfast room and a kitchen (soon a glass roof). Then, they will renovate each room: painting and flooring, changing the furniture and equipment for a simple and sober decoration. Nicolas Hunot likes the hotel business, which he already knows a little, and particularly appreciates the contact with customers. Starting from nothing, he succeeded in a few months to create a team, to organize the publicity and finally to open one weekend with all his studios reserved! He appreciates being in a dynamic of permanent improvement. He has just installed digital locks that allow him to enter his room with his phone. Other projects will follow....
Sweet Home Appart Hotel - and its team of five people and three seasonal workers - now welcomes many loyal customers, often for one night. In summer, visitors stay longer to discover the region. The seasonal teams who work in the tourism sector and for many in the horse world appreciate the place which allows them to be a little autonomous than in the hotel. It also welcomes many people who come for a wedding and groups attracted by the good e-reputation of the hotel.
A green location within walking distance
Located in the heart of Saint-Arnoult - in a very green environment - the residence is ideal when you want to attend races at the Touques racecourse, show jumping competitions at the Pôle International du Cheval Deauville Longines or simply ride a horse. From the Deauville-Trouville train station, the "voie verte" leads directly there, which is a real advantage for a car-free stay.
