Story 8: Going out to sea
Sandrine Boyer-Engel

InDeauville has sea legs. The taste for cross-Channel regattas came to him very quickly.
City stage with happiness of the Tour de France with the veil in 2013, anchoring city of Cowes-Deauville
which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2021, it has twice hosted the sailors of the Solitaire du Figaro.
Between major events, the Deauville Yacht Club and its sailing school
are maneuvering to organize regattas, outings and learning to sail on habitables.

Gateway to the bay of the Seine opening onto the Channel, its lake is reputed to be technical.
With their 1 cumulative rings, the two ports of the territory - Port Deauville and the Port Municipal -
offer a large reception capacity and an exceptional environment in the city center.
We also practice dinghy sailing in Villers-sur-Mer and Blonville-sur-Mer
where the Pôle Nautique Villers-Blonville offers courses on catamarans all year round.

Going from Deauville to Trouville-sur-Mer by boat and vice versa is child's play. Embark on the Trait d'Union, a small boat that connects the two stations when the tide is high. Anecdote: it is the smallest crossing in France with 220 meters in three minutes!
