DEAUVILLE BEACH IS ALSO A VAST SPACE LOCATED BETWEEN THE SEA AND THE BOULEVARD CORNUCHE. A SPACE THAT IS ALSO CALLED THE LAIS DE MER. THE HISTORY MADE THAT THEY WILL REMAIN HAS FOREVER THE PLAYGROUND OF THE BATHERS, THE HOLIDAY MAKERS, THE SPORTSMEN.

Deauville's beach is a place of stories, the stories of those who have frequented Deauville for over 150 years; mythical places, the Planches, the Bar du Soleil, the Pompeian baths. They are symbols that have been seen around the world: the five-colored umbrellas, the names of American actors on its cabins. They are skies painted by Dufy or Boudin, scenes of life sketched by James Rassiat, photos by the Seeberger brothers, Robert Capa and many others. They are sporting exploits at the tennis club, records broken in the Olympic swimming pool, regattas in the open sea, long and invigorating horseback rides on the waterfront.
The beach of Deauville is a vast space located between the sea and the Boulevard Cornuché. This space is also called the "lais de mer". History has made them the playground of bathers, vacationers and athletes.
