Deauville beach, these are stories, those of those who have frequented Deauville for more than one hundred and fifty years; mythical places, Les Planches, the Bar du Soleil, the Pompeian baths. These are symbols that have gone around the world: the five-color parasols, the names of the American actors on its cabins. These are skies painted by Dufy or Boudin, scenes of life sketched by James Rassiat, photos of the Seeberger brothers, Robert Capa and many others. These are sports exploits at the tennis club, records broken in the Olympic swimming pool, offshore regattas, long and invigorating horseback rides on the water's edge.

Deauville beach is a large space located between the sea and Boulevard Cornuché. A space that is also called the sea lice. History has made them forever the playground of bathers, vacationers and sportsmen.

The wind is blowing

And big clouds gallop

through the sky while the sun dies "
