François Reynaert is a journalist and writer. The first history book he published, Nos ancêtres les Gaulois et autres fadaises (2010), became a bestseller. With La Grande Histoire du monde arabe (2013), then La Grande Histoire du monde (2016, Livre de Poche's 2018 Essais readers' prize), the author continues to encourage readers to change their view of the past.
