PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY FOR THE 25TH LONGINES HOUR
146 participants for the photo contest of the 25th Longines Hour
This Sunday, October 28, 2018, the first three prizes of the 25th Longines Hour photo contest were awarded. For the 9th edition and the first in partnership with the Swiss watch brand Longines, 146 photographs were taken during the night of Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 October 2018, between midnight and 1am.

During the award ceremony on Sunday morning in Deauville, Alain Genestar, president of the jury, was happy to discover the creativity of the photographs and congratulated the participants for having braved the particularly wet weather conditions of this edition.
The secret of action is to get started!
An edition full of contrasts

The first prize in the 25th Longines Hour photo contest was awarded to Claude Petit-Boileau. Arriving at the Villa le Cercle at 11:40 p.m. with a sign saying "I'm looking for a photographer", he met Hugo Jehanne who offered to help him. Hugo became the photographer behind Claude Petit-Boileau's staging in front of the Deauville-La Touques racecourse. The young 20 year old photographer also won the second prize by staging himself, with his shirt soaked, under a lamp post in Place Morny. Coming from Bayeux, he participated for the first time in the contest. Hugo Jehanne realized, at first, the shot of Claude Petit-Boileau before making his own. The third prize was awarded to Philippe Verrier for his black and white photo in the columns of the sea baths.
