In addition to the free rental and the initiation formulas proposed by inDeauville's service providers, you can embark on breathtaking trips to the famous cliffs of the Roches Noires or take a spectacular trip down the Touques River.
Hike along the Black Rocks
Concept sport Emotion - a real kayak school located on the beach of Trouville-sur-Mer - takes you on breathtaking trips to discover the cliffs of the "Roches Noires" of Trouville-sur-Mer and Villerville, seen from the sea.
This long site starts east of Trouville-sur-Mer and extends for nearly four kilometers to the town of Villerville. This hike offers a magnificent view of the sea, which led many notables in the last century to build their villas there. This site is of international importance for the wintering of the oystercatcher. They, as well as other species of shorebirds (curlews, sandpipers, redshanks...), come to feed on mollusks, bivalves and worms on the mussel beds as soon as they are discovered by the tide. At low tide, you can hear the songs of all these birds.
Hiking on the Touques River
This coastal river, which is born on the borders of the Pays d'Ouche, the Pays d'Auge, the Perche and the countryside of Alençon, near Champ-Haut (Orne), flows into the English Channel between Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer. Its ancient name, Algia, is still present in the Pays d'Auge. Different courses are possible: Concept Sport Emotion proposes you to go down the meanders of the Touques on a course of 8 km between Pont l'Evêque and Saint-Martin-aux-Chartrains but you can also leave for a descent of the Touques which will begin at Breuil-en-Auge and will finish at the Terre d'Auge Lake at Pont-L'Evêque.
