The Ardeo Quartet was formed in 2001 at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris and is now one of the most renowned French ensembles.
He has won several prizes at the international competitions of Bordeaux, Moscow, the Premio Paolo Borciani of Bologna and the International Chamber Music Competition of Melbourne.
The Ardeo Quartet performs on major stages and festivals in France and abroad. Named "Rising Stars" by the European Concert Hall Organization (ECHO), the Ardeo Quartet is leading a concert tour in 2014/15 in the most prestigious European venues.
The Ardeo Quartet presented its first CD in 2007 with the world premiere of the first two quartets by Koechlin. In collaboration with pianist David Kadouch, the quartet released a CD dedicated to Shostakovich (Transart Live, 2010) and Schumann (Decca, 2011). With the help of the Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice, the musicians have recorded the world premiere of three quartets by Anton Reicha (Empreinte Digitale, 2014).
