Founded in 2001 at the National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, the Ardeo Quartet is now one of the most renowned French groups.

His career has been crowned with several prizes at international competitions in Bordeaux, Moscow, Premio Paolo Borciani in Bologna and the International Chamber Music Competition in Melbourne.

The Ardeo quartet performs on major stages and festivals in France and abroad. Named “Rising Stars” by the European Concert Hall Organization (ECHO), the Ardeo quartet conducted in 2014/15 a concert tour in the most prestigious European halls.

The Ardeo Quartet presented their first album in 2007 with the world premiere of Koechlin's first two quartets. In collaboration with pianist David Kadouch, a CD dedicated to Chostakovich (Transart Live, 2010) and Schumann (Decca, 2011) has been released. With the help of the Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice, the musicians recorded a world premiere of three quartets by Anton Reicha (Empreinte Digitale, 2014).
