Port Deauville les Marinas In the early 1970's, a second private port was built, called "Port-Deauville", which combined vacation and pleasure boating. It includes a lock basin, a wet dock and a tidal basin. Spread over an area of more than 10 hectares, protected by a 770-meter long breakwater made of granite blocks, this deep-water port has a major asset. On the Normandy coast, where the tides impose their schedules on sailors, it is accessible 16 hours a day.
