FLAT, TROTTING & JUMPS AT DEAUVILLE-CLAIREFONTAINE
If the Deauville-La Touques racecourse is the sanctuary of flat racing, the Deauville-Clairefontaine racecourse orchestrates races in the three disciplines of trotting, flat racing and jumping (hurdles and steeplechase). Inaugurated in 1928, this charming racecourse with its typically Norman buildings is one of the most flowery in France and is located only 2 kilometers from Deauville.

THE ONLY TRI-DISCIPLINARY RACETRACK IN NORMANDY
It is between mid-June and the end of October that this charming racecourse vibrates under the applause of the tribunes. What makes it unique? Its ability to host all three horse racing disciplines: flat, trotting and jumping (hurdles and steeplechase). The Deauville-Clairefontaine racecourse hosts some twenty race meetings each year, and welcomes nearly 70,000 spectators each season. A place of relaxation, nature and entertainment, it offers a rich program of activities.
The three emblematic flat races: the Prix Luth Enchantée, the Prix du Défi du Galop and the Grand prix de Clairefontaine, which open the August meeting every year.
The three emblematic obstacle races : the Grand steeple-chase de la Ville de Deauville, the Grande course de Haies Guillaume d'Ornano and the Prix Léopold d'Orsetti.

FEEL THE NATURE
At Deauville-Clairefontaine, nature surrounds you. 100,000 flowers adorn the buildings and the inside of the tracks is a renatured marsh, a superb plant and animal nature reserve. The racecourse was the first horse-riding facility to achieve the Excellence level of the EquuRES label! This recognition shows the involvement of the teams in order to master the "flagship" subjects of the label: energy savings, preservation of resources and biodiversity, and finally the quality of the soil, water and air.
