A citywide festival
A festival of photographic creations, Planches Contact presents the work of photographers invited to Deauville for a residency, in order to match their photographic universe with the town. From October 19, the exhibitions open their doors and are displayed in giant format throughout the town until January 5: in the streets, on the beach, on the quays, at the Point de Vue...

Aux Franciscaines
____________________
A place of life and culture, Les Franciscaines invite photographers from the Planches Contact festival to settle in and take possession of the premises. This is the gathering place for the festival, where the program will take place - screenings, meetings, awards ceremony and 25th hour competition - in addition to the exhibitions below.
At the heart of the Espace André Hambourg will be photographs from the Fnac collection "Le siècle des vacances" collection, from Brassaï to Martin Parr.
In parallel with his residency series, Phillip Toledano will present his Another America project for the first time in France, a project in which he used artificial intelligence to create a parallel history of the United States, oscillating between the plausible and the explicitly unreal.
