Planches Contact is a unique festival of photographic creation based on the principle of public commission. The photographers invited to Deauville for a residency match their universe with the city and then exhibit their work from October to January. For the past two years, Planches Contact has been open to the whole of Normandy, proposing to the invited photographers to explore the region, beyond Deauville, coastline, countryside or urban agglomerations. 

For this 14th edition, 25 established and emerging international photographers are on show in a series of open-air exhibitions throughout the town, on the beach and indoors at Point de Vue and Les Franciscaines. Large-format exhibitions, installations, video screenings, encounters, shows, workshops, portfolio readings... the festival offers a rich and original program of contemporary photography.
