At the Deauville casino, the jockeys dressed in their colorful coats; in the hall of the town hall, the incredible portraits of the city agents made at the collodion; at Fracasse school and high school, work on self-representation carried out by students: four exhibitions of the off this year are devoted to portraits of those who pass through Deauville or live there.

Sign of the times, Pascal Rete, stopped on the beach waste and its transformation while Evelyne Brun undertook a new approach in the off: follow one of the photographers of In ... The portrait of the city passes also by images of its architecture to discover in the hall of the town hall and by two new visions of the probably most inspiring place of all time, the beach.

WINS THE 2019 CONTACT BOARD (S) PRIZE

Chau-Cuong Lê wins the 2019 Contact Board (s) prize unanimously for his work on the theme of adolescence. Between reporting and staging, his very detailed photographic narrative shows a strong bond with a group of teenagers who lent himself to his game.

161 PARTICIPANTS FOR THE PHOTO CONTEST OF
THE 25TH HOUR LONGINES

This Sunday, October 27, 2019, the first three prizes of the photo contest of the 25th Longines Hour were awarded. For the 10th edition and the second in partnership with the Swiss watch brand Longines, 161 photographs were taken during the night of Saturday October 26 to Sunday October 27, 2019, between midnight and one o'clock in the morning. At the awards ceremony on Sunday morning in Deauville, Alain Genestar, who represented the president of the jury Sarah Moon, was happy to discover the creativity of the photographs taken in one hour on a rainy night.
