Michel Piquemal

Guest at the 2017 Books & Music Festival

Formerly a teacher, Michel Piquemal has published since 1988 and has more than 200 books to his credit: detective stories, theater, heroic fantasy, anthologies… He feels in fraternity with the excluded, the marginalized, the damned of the earth. For him, writing for youth is writing for life, for optimism.
Among Albin Michel Jeunesse, he has published, among other things, the series of "Philo-fables" - The Little Stone Merry-go-round - The Golden Voice of Africa et Nonna's red dress. The Incredible History of the Recycled Orchestra just published in November 2016. He lives in Béziers.
