Pierre & Vacances inaugurates its first 5-star premium residence on the Deauville peninsula
The residence is located in the Presqu'île district, which is undergoing a vast rehabilitation program.
On Friday, May 25, 2018, Gérard Brémond, CEO of the Pierre & Vacances - Center Parcs Group, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Secretary of State to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, and Philippe Augier, Mayor of Deauville, inaugurated the 5* Pierre & Vacances premium residence "la Presqu'Île de la Touques" in Deauville. Facing the sea and open to the city, the residence is ideally located in front of the harbor, 300 m from the Trouville-Deauville train station and 5 mn walk from the city center, with its shops, restaurants and beach. Designed in the heart of a green garden and in the Norman spirit of the 19th century, with this new residence, holidaymakers have a new quality hotel offer in Deauville.

The Norman spirit in the heart of a landscaped park
The design of the Residence "La Presqu'Île de la Touques" was entrusted to the urban architect Xavier Bohl who was inspired by traditional Norman architecture. The materials used are typical of local buildings: half-timbering and wooden shutters, slate or zinc roofs, bricks...
"The residence was designed in the neo-Norman style of Deauville. It integrates materials such as brick, wood and stone. Each building has its own personality, style and colors. Great care was taken to ensure the quality and finesse of this project, in all its details."

The gardens of the Residence are designed by the landscape architect Thierry Huau. A landscaped park with a kiosk, various plantations, Japanese steps... decorates the heart of the Residence in an elegant atmosphere.
"There was a real work on colors and light, reminiscent of the impressionists who painted on the peninsula. These are rich gardens, mixing collections of roses and hydrangeas with the exoticism of Chinese palms."

Seaside atmosphere
For the decoration of the apartments, interior designer Sophie Vallat was inspired by the excellence of the Deauville lifestyle. The residence is composed of 133 spacious and luminous 2 to 4 room apartments that have been decorated with noble and warm materials in blue and white tones evoking the seaside and black and white photos the style of the 1920s.

The premium residence Presqu'île de la Touques***** offers a Deep Nature® spa of more than 300 m² with a sensory shower, a snow shower, a salt cabin, a sauna, a hammam, an herbal tea room as well as three treatment rooms, one of which is a double room... in a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. It also has a heated swimming pool all year round with an indoor pool bathed in light thanks to a large glass roof, which extends outside onto the landscaped gardens.
