Anne-Marie PHILIPE

Invited to the Books & Music Festival 2016

After a scientific baccalaureate and higher studies in biology, Anne-Marie Philipe is a student in the Périmony course and then joins the Ecole de la rue Blanche (ENSATT).

She then joined Jean-Louis Barrault's troupe at the Orsay theater and played in particular in Harold and Maude before meeting Peter Brook who took her to the Bouffes du Nord where she worked on Measure for Measure, studying aikido during an internship with Yoshi OÏda then leaves for Japan where she settles for a time to perfect her apprenticeship. On her return, she joined Andréas Voutsinas' class and was introduced to the Actor's Studio Method alongside her. He notably staged her in Iguana night by T. Williams at the Bouffes du Nord. From then on, she never stopped playing in the theater: she approached Corneille, Hugo, Edouardo de Filippo, Claudel, Anouilh, Tennesse Williams, Goldoni, Isaac Babel, Audiberti and shot more than 100 films, both for cinema and for television, in which she rubs shoulders with Sophia Loren, Daniel Auteuil, Bernard Giraudeau, Niels Arestrup, Sophie Marceau, Miou-Miou, Patrick Timsit, André Dussollier, Jacques Perrin, Anne Parillaud ... She works with Bernard Sobel, Georges Vitaly, Josée Dayan , Jean Marboeuf, Didier Decoin, Michel Drach, Tony Gatlif, Lina Wertmuller, Yves Robert, Patrice Leconte, Bertrand Tavernier, Bruno Chiche and runs in both English and Italian. She plays in several films by Véra Belmont, of which she collects the memories of producer and filmmaker in The swallow of the faubourg  (stock editions). At the same time, Anne-Marie Philipe twice taught theater at the Périmony course where she held an ensemble class, continued horseback riding, traveled and learned Japanese. Then, she meets Danseur, her Lusitanian from Haute-Ecole, and decides to tell children about the adventures of her Portuguese dressage horse by creating her own collection at Gallimard-Jeunesse in which she publishes 14 albums. Then she adapts, produces and says Le temps d'un sigh, the book of her mother (Anne Philipe) and thus settles in the transmission that she has already approached with the albums of Dancer. Today, Anne-Marie Philipe creates her own course and thus pursues the idea of ​​transmission to which she is attached.
