Philippe Petit
Stylist for Armor Lux

Fashion: Deauville by Armor Lux, "a chic and sporty collection
The first Deauville collection by Armor-Lux was presented on June 26, 2015 in Deauville, during a fashion show on the Planches. For the designer Philippe Petit, this fashion show signed "the return to the history of Deauville, since the Planches hosted at the beginning of the century fashion shows organized by Chanel, Patou and great names of the time."
A traditional company rooted in its territory, Armor Lux perpetuates know-how and quality clothing. The two brands met on the ground of values: a strong attachment to their respective identity, to the development of their territory and to audacity. In the background, a garment, the marinière, at the heart of their history. Designed with the collaboration of Nelly Rodi, this collection offers a sporty and casual line inspired by the iconography of Deauville, its symbols and its colors.
Deauville and Armor Lux have invited agnès b. - loyal to Deauville and its cultural commitment - to design a capsule within this collection. The three brands have signed their shared desire to highlight French creativity, expertise and know-how .
THE STRIPE AT THE HEART OF THE COLLECTION
When she opened a boutique in Deauville in 1913, Gabrielle Chanel was inspired by the atmosphere of the town and its dress codes. Among other things, the marinière, worn by fishermen on the quays of Deauville, was included in her collections for women. The stylist Philippe Petit deciphers, in images, the springs of this new collection.
The Deauville products by Armor Lux are on sale in the Armor Lux network. The capsule collection is on sale in a selection of Armor-Lux boutiques: Deauville, Granville, Paris, Plaisir, Quimper, Dinard, Saint-Grégoire... and agnès b.
