Show course at Calouste Gulbenkian Park. From 13 years old.

Inspired by a medieval tale of chivalry, Gustave Flaubert transposes to the XNUMXth century the legend of Julien, a solitary hunter, fleeing his family castle since a deer-god predicted that he would assassinate his father and his mother.
With an extraordinary pictorial force, Flaubert "dips his pen in the gall of a baroque and barbaric Middle Ages from which he extracts his allegory of virtue and piety". Fascinated by our wildest instincts, he focuses on family transmission and questions the strength of dreams and the weight of family secrets.
A singular spectacle, which takes place in the open. An ambulatory staging in the woods and meadows of Calouste Gulbenkian Park. An original experience, which immerses the spectator, equipped with an audio headset, "Where he can question his relationship to nature". In front of him, an actor and a musician reveal the lesser known of Flaubert's three tales.
