Horse auction: August yearling sale

Thoroughbred auctions are an integral part of Deauville's identity. They have been held there regularly since 1887. Today, around ten sales, organized by Arqana, are scheduled each year, including the prestigious August yearling sale which attracts professionals from all over the world.

Deauville is the number one yearling (horses under 2 years old) sale place in France and the second on the European market! We can no longer count the number of stars of the tracks that were awarded during the famous "Deauville sales", which have today become a real quality label in the racing world.
