Heritage Days: Free visit of the Calouste Gulbenkian Park
The Domaine des Enclos: an exceptional 33-hectare park was bequeathed to the City of Deauville in 1973. It was acquired in 1937 by Calouste Gulbenkian (1869-1955), a businessman and esthete, who was the one of the greatest art collectors of the XNUMXth century. He will realize there the garden of his dreams and entrusts the realization to the landscaper Achille Duchêne.
Decades after its conception, the park remains a magical place, an unknown and joyful facet of a secret Deauville. More than anything, it has retained the charm and beauty that its creator had once achieved, with a rare sensitivity.
