Pauline Parmentier
Although Pauline Parmentier is used to coming to train every year on the Lawn Tennis Club courts, she will be participating for the first time in the women's Open tournament.
Pauline Parmentier is currently ranked 65th in the world, her recent victories at the Istanbul and Quebec City tournaments (2018) allow her to get closer to her best ranking (40th in 2008).
Selected in the French Fed Cup team, she actively participated in the qualification for the final. Her victory in singles against Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu (6-3, 2-6, 6-2) allowed France to equalize at 2-2 and prolong the dream of qualification.
She will try to succeed Alizé Cornet in the list of winners of the Calvados Women's Open.
