Yves Pagès

Yves Pagès wasborn in 1963 in Paris. After literary studies and a stay at the Villa Médicis (1996), he joined the Verticales publishing house (founded in 1997 by Bernard Wallet), where he is now co-director with Jeanne Guyon. He is the author of an essay, Les Fictions du politique chez L.-F. Céline (Seuil, 1994; Tel/Gallimard, 2010), a play, les Parapazzi (Solitaires intempestifs, 1998), a book of photographs, Photomanies (le Bec en l'air, 2015) and a collection of graffiti, Tiens, ils ont repeint ! - 50 ans d'aphorismes urbains (La Découverte, 2017).
Since 1990, he has published a dozen fictions, including Petites Natures mortes au travail (Verticales, 2000; Folio, 2007), le Théoriste, (Verticales, 2001, Wepler Prize), Portraits crachés (Verticales, 2003; 2013), le Soi-disant (Verticales, 2008) and, more recently, with L'Olivier Souviens-moi (2014) and Encore Heureux (2018).
