Yves Pagès

Yves Pagès was born in 1963 in Paris. After studying literature and staying at the Villa Médicis (1996), he entered the Vertical editions (founded in 1997 by Bernard Wallet) of which he is now co-director with Jeanne Guyon. He is the author of an essay, Political Fictions at L.-F. Celine (Seuil, 1994; Tel / Gallimard, 2010), a play, the Parapazzi (Solitaires intempestifs, 1998), a book of photographs, Photomanias (Le Bec en l'air, 2015) and a collection of graffiti, Here, they repainted! - 50 years of urban aphorisms (The Discovery, 2017).

Since 1990, he has published ten fictions, including Little Still Life at Work (Verticales, 2000; Folio, 2007), the Theorist, (Verticales, 2001, Wepler Prize), Spitting portraits (Verticals, 2003; 2013), the so-called (Verticales, 2008) and, more recently, editions of L'Olivier Remember me (2014) et Still happy (2018).
