Carl NORAC
Invited to the 2016 Books & Music Festival
Born in Mons, Belgium in 1960, Carl Norac is the son of a writer and an actress. He grew up first in a popular city, surrounded by his friends with whom he re-enacts the adventures written by Enid Blyton. Then, his father builds a cottage and the family leaves to live in the middle of a forest.
Before devoting himself to his passion, writing, Carl Norac had several jobs: French teacher, television scriptwriter, journalist... Author of poetry and theater, Carl Norac also writes books for children. His albums are sometimes inspired by his travels which took him from the desert sand to the Arctic ice.
For several years, he has been living in France, in Olivet, on the banks of the Loire. He is the father of a little fairy named Else.
