Alexandre-Benjamin Navet

Artistic director and multidisciplinary artist

Guest of the 2021 L'Appel du Large festival

Artistic director, scenographer, designer… Alexandre-Benjamin Navet is a multiple artist - brilliant draftsman whose naive features in bright colors appear most often in a collection of ceramics staged in a theatrical setting. In the summer of 2017, he won the Grand Jury Prize at the Design Parade Toulon with "Imajaghan, living room", a decor created alongside Paul Brissonnet, creating an environment of pure inspiration for sleeping creators. Based in Paris, Alexandre-Benjamin maintains a special relationship with the South which nourishes his solar and iodized visual universe. pure colors naturally echo the Moderns and the work of Henri Matisse. The volumes are simplified, modeled by strong contrasts of light and shadow.

As part of the L'Appel du Large festival which will take place from July 2 to 4, 2021, Alexandre-Benjamin Navet is transforming the first-aid station at Deauville beach. More information on L'Appel du Large here.
