Sleeping one more hour or living one more hour?
In the night between October 28th and 29th, a supplementary hour is offered to each of us, changing from summer time to winter time. If you are tempted to remain home and sleep, Planche(s) Contact, the photographic festival of Deauville, invites you to spend an hour of photographic creation to make this imagined hour real.

1er prix 2016 © Ernest-August Tischenko

SUBJECT: Capturing Deauville during the transition to winter time, from midnight to midnight. The subject is free as long as the photo is taken in Deauville: this contest is an opportunity to share your own vision of the 25th hour.
PLACE: The starting signal for the contest is made at Villa le Cercle where all the participants meet (from 10 pm on). The journalists of Réponses Photo magazine hold a stand there to give information and suggestions.
PHOTO: From midnight on, the participants can submit their digital file to Villa le Cercle. Pictures are printed during the night, displayed in the following morning and then submitted to the jury. All photographs are exhibited from Monday, October 31st to the end of the Festival at the Salle des Fêtes.

Mondaine, official sponsor, Comité PATA France, the La Gacilly Photographic Festival and the Réponses Photo magazine are committed alongside the Planche(s) Contact Festival: the three partners offer exceptional awards to the winners.
