A “Micro-Folie” settles in Deauville at Point de Vue for 10 months. In this atypical and multifunctional place dedicated to culture and the arts, awakening, fulfillment, creativity will guide the programming.

The concept of "Micro-Folie" which is deployed throughout France under the impetus of the Ministry of Culture displays the same ambitions as the Franciscans: disseminate cultural content, promote creation and creativity, be a place of conviviality and of exchanges. It will allow - in a way - the Franciscan cultural team to open a prefiguration version of the future equipment currently under construction and to install a new cultural rhythm on the territory before the hour. In transversality, the Franciscan team - museum, media library, fablab and performing arts - has designed an open-plan program. Museum works, creation or hacking workshops, virtual reality, books, games… whatever the medium: everything is done to transmit and disseminate cultural content.

After a closing time - to make way for the Festival Planche (s) Contact, the public will find in 2020 - at the opening of the Franciscans - the Micro-Folie spirit.

The system installed in Deauville since December 2018 is organized around six spaces including a digital museum which contains 500 treasures from 12 major national institutions: the Palace of Versailles, the Pompidou Center, the Louvre, the National Picasso Museum, the Quai Branly Museum , the Philharmonie de Paris, Universcience, the Réunion des Musées Nationaux et du Grand Palais (RMN-Grand Palais), the Festival d'Avignon, the Paris Opera and the Musée d'Orsay.

Like the Franciscans, the place is designed as much for adults as for young people who can discover it alone, with family, with friends but also as part of educational tours.
