Touques - June 29 & 30, 2019

Hear ye, hear ye, gentle Ladies and noble Lords! The City of Touques invites you to go back in time spending a weekend in the era of minstrels and knights...

As it was the second Norman metropolis in the Middle Ages, the City of Touques is chosen as the privileged setting for Medieval fairs since 2011. For the IX edition, the medieval town pays tribute to the Spice Route and invites the visitors to live the era of Norman dukes...

Experience the Middle Age era!
> Fireworks, historical reenactment, sword fights, initiations to medieval dance, concerts... Jugglers, dancers, actors, master of arms and many more artists walk around and perform on the road.
> A Medieval market with about fifty exhibitors is held in the city centre to let you buy up products: honey, leather goods-fur coats, handmade products, spices, jewels, outfits.
> Innkeepers, found at the Place de la Mairie, serve drinks to villagers passing by. In the evening, they welcome Lords and miscreants for a medieval dance.
> Valiant children play the available games and enjoy approaching cows, goats, rabbits and other animals frequently found in a Medieval farm.
