Vincent Marcq
Young talent photographer of the festival Planche(s) Contact 2016

Outside
Vincent Marcq was born in 1991 in the north of France. After obtaining his Diploma at the Beaux-Arts of Valenciennes, where he will start using photography as a working medium, he obtained in 2016 his Master 2 at the National Superior School of Photography of Arles. His work, which explores our contemporary habitat, has been shown several times in exhibitions in Arles, Paris, Creil, Deauville, Marseille.
For the festival Planche(s) Contact, he worked on the paradox that operates between the intimate and the public place. He moved the interiors of some inhabitants of Deauville to the outside. These parcels of shared intimacy, where everyday objects become ephemeral sculptures perpetuated by photography, thus blurring the boundaries between inside and outside. "These windows of intimacies" deal with understanding, language, conceptualization, and give access to someone's life. This inversion of spaces in the city is a game of displacements which comes to disturb the codes of identification and functioning, by rearranging the urban space with objects of the everyday life.
