Shell recipe - Domaine de VillersClara Douet

Le Matisse

For the scallop season, Le Matisse is offering several dishes based on scallops.

Inventive and delicate, daring and elegant, the Chef's cuisine navigates between land and sea, subtly combining products from Normandy's terroir with those from the sea along its shores. Mostly local produce is fresh and in season.

Le Matisse has something for everyone, with dishes available on the menu, à la carte or à la carte... and always well accompanied by a generous wine list.

For the shellfish season, Les Ammonites offers scallops as a starter and main course.

Located on the Ammonites beach in Bénerville-sur-mer, this sea-view restaurant offers a large terrace and a private beach with deckchair hire.

Speciality: the chef's slate according to the market.

Key West

For the weekend of the Fête de la coquille Saint-Jacques et des fruits de mer in Villers-sur-Mer, Key West will have a scallop dish on the menu.

This beachfront brasserie offers the pleasure of lunching "feet in the water", thanks to its sunny, sheltered terrace.

The menu features mainly seafood products, but also daily specials (meat and fish), as well as sweet and savory crêpes.

Au Bureau

To celebrate the shell, all weekend long you can enjoy this recipe for Normandy-style scallops with garnish.

Located near the train station in Deauville, Au Bureau is a typical Pub Brasserie inspired by London pubs. Lunches, aperitifs, dinners, parties... You'll love spending time at Au Bureau!

For the scallop season, this 2018 Michelin-starred restaurant is offering a scallop-based starter.

L'Essentiel in Deauville is all about sharing and transparency, with its open kitchen, spacious dining room and comfortable new furnishings.

A cuisine that respects the seasons and local producers, with a touch of Asia.

Hurricane Bar

This Villers bar-restaurant will be celebrating with steamed scallops seasoned with the chef's own cream and served with basmati rice.

L'Hurricane Bar offers a colorful, relaxed setting for tasty local dishes and fish. In this atypical restaurant, families are warmly welcomed and board games are available... Festive atmosphere guaranteed!

The menu features night-caught fish from the port of Dives sur Mer, and Norman cheese fondues (camembert, pont l'évêque or pavé d'Auge) with traditional Norman charcuterie sliced on site.

The icing on the cake: the terrace is sunny all day long!

Le Yacht Café

Throughout the season, depending on the availability of fish, the Yacht Café in Deauville offers a shellfish dish as a daily suggestion.

A privileged location for this large brasserie on the market square. In a seaside atmosphere, order a coffee or sit out on the large sunny terrace from 3pm. At the table, a wide variety of mixed salads, fish and meats.

Le Bellevue

To celebrate the scallop season, the menu features two starters: pan-fried scallops with Timut pepper, butternut and mushroom sauce; or scallop nage with berries and passion fruit. And two main courses: pan-fried scallops with pumpkin sauce; and scallop puff pastry with endives and caper beurre blanc.

The hotel *** restaurant Le Bellevue opens its doors onto a magnificent garden and a splendid view of the sea between Honfleur and Trouville. This hundred-year-old Normandy villa with its cosy atmosphere boasts a restaurant on the veranda or terrace, serving traditional, high-quality Normandy cuisine and seafood.

Nearby: beach, equestrian center, hiking, golf, casino, thalasso.

Casa Roméo

Over the weekend, this Italian caterer from Deauville will be serving fresh, handmade ravioli to eat in or take away. Two variations will be available: Saint-Jacques and ceps, or Saint-Jacques truffle.

Located opposite the market square, Casa Roméo offers a surprisingly warm atmosphere in which to enjoy antipasti, cold meats, cheeses, fresh pasta, ready-made meals (with a wide choice for vegetarians), focaccia, bruschetta, Illy coffee....
