_______ SUMMER EXHIBITION Go on a trip to popular destinations
by André Hambourg
Each summer, the Franciscans - future place of conviviality and culture of Deauville - present its collections outside its walls. At Point de Vue, you will be able to discover for the first time this year 66 paintings by André Hambourg among the 536 that make up the donation made by Nicole Hambourg to the City of Deauville. The exhibition is designed as a journey to the destinations the artist prized, from Paris to the Maghreb, via Provence and Normandy.
As an extension, visitors can discover on the Planches of Deauville the exhibition "Land of inspiration" with nearly 30 works from the Franciscan collections illustrating the places that inspired André Hamburg. Contemporary photographs, drawings and engravings, but also magazine covers or illustrations of works which have been produced by other artists.
