LONGINES DEAUVILLE CLASSIC

Presented by Longines, partner of the most prestigious equestrian events, and supported by the Normandy Region, the Longines Deauville Classic is an international show jumping competition held since its creation in 2017 at the Pôle International du Cheval Longines-Deauville, a unique competition venue in Normandy. No fewer than 350 horses and 200 riders, representing over twenty nations, are welcomed for this 7th edition which goes up a notch with a CSI 4* in addition to the CSI 1*; the particularly technical courses, are designed by Grégory Bodo, future head of track for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The event will see the world's best riders compete, including French riders Julien Epaillard, Marc Dilasser, Pénélope Leprévost, Julien Anquetin, Nicolas Delmotte, Edward Levy, Olivier Perreau and foreign riders Laura Kraut and Victor Bettendord.

ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
In addition to the sporting activities, the "Classic Kids" village and the Normandy breeds village, both set up around the large arena, are the HQ for entertainment. At weekends, little ones can enjoy pony rides.

THE 10th LONGINES EQUESTRIAN CHALLENGE NORMANDIE
Enthusiasts and neophytes alike are expected on Thursday August 10 for a challenge combining equestrian sport and horse racing, where seven teams made up of a rider and a jockey rider and a jockey exchange their disciplines. First, theriders try their hand at flat racing on the Deauville-La Touques racecourse, then join the jockeys at the Pôle International du Cheval Longines-Deauville for a show jumping test.
