The Deauville-La Touques racecourse is the one where you can see the most races during the year! It deserves its nickname of "4 seasons" racecourse with its program of 42 days of flat races, the discipline where the speed of thoroughbreds is expressed. Its prestigious races (Group 1) and its training center with 450 horses year-round and 750 in the summer attract the elite riders and an international clientele.
This racecourse was the first 17 years ago to inaugurate a fiberglass sand track, which allows it to organize races in winter. Its grass track takes over in the summer. Deauville-La Touques then hosts numerous races that have earned it its reputation, including the famous Prix Rothschild, Maurice de Gheest, Jacques Le Marois, Morny, Jean Romanet... and to close the summer season, the Grand Prix de Deauville.
