Morny Cinema in Deauville
Cinema
The Cinéma Morny-Club has 4 movie theaters in the center of Deauville.
Originally the Morny-Club Cinema in Deauville was a Citroën showroom. From the beginning of the 20th century, the resorts of the Normandy coast became a favorite destination for Parisian motorists. Strategically located behind the casino, André Citroën, who regularly stayed in Deauville, inaugurated this 2,000 m2 store designed by architect Georges Wybo in 1926. The building was transformed into a cinema in 1946 by the trouvillais architect Maurice Vincent at the request of Armand Chassain, director of cinemas in Le Havre.
