THE TRAININGS

The Basic License or "BB

Conditions: be at least 15 years old on the day of the exam, have passed the medical examination with an approved doctor, have undergone ground training, justify a minimum of 6 hours of flight in double command, justify a minimum of 4 hours of flight alone on board and 20 landings, pass the theoretical tests, pass the practical flight test.
This "BB" allows you to fly alone in a 30 km radius around the airfield and beyond with prior authorization. Afterwards, your instructor will be able to issue you with additional authorizations: carrying passengers, landing on neighboring airfields, distance extensions.

The Private Pilot's License or "PPL

Conditions: you must be at least 17 years old on the day of the exam, have passed a medical examination by an approved doctor, and have a minimum of 45 hours of flight time, including at least 25 hours of dual flight time and 10 hours of supervised solo flight time (including 5 hours of cross-country flight time and at least one solo flight of 150 NM with two complete intermediate landings). The training includes an introduction to blind flight (performing a 180° turn in safety).
This "PPL" will allow you to fly anywhere in France, and even abroad if you master English.

Flights of 20 or 30 minutes for 1 to 3 people in an airplane with an experienced pilot from the Aero Club of Deauville.
The flight can be postponed for bad weather or last minute problems.
